Luke Sargeant
Comedy CV
I am an aspiring stand up comic and compere, born in London, raised in Devon and currently residing in the fair city of Bristol

I have been performing stand up comedy and hosting nights for nearly 3 years and in that time have clocked up 250 gigs, averaging 3 per week in 2014. I am comfortable performing 5, 10 or 20 minutes of material and am currently working towards my first full hour show.

My material ranges from the more standard subjects of the personal life into flights of fancy and alternate accounts of major historical events. I also like to speak about the inventions and business plans I have dreamed up over the years as a self employed person. My friends call me Alan "Too-much" Sugar, on account of my entrepreneurial spirit and sweet tooth.

I really enjoy integrating audio snippets, powerpoint presentations & written communication within my performances. I also dabble in character comedy from time to time from a mad scientist, to Father Christmas to a medieval knight. Although I usually save these for the more avant garde evenings I perform at!
